How long is an average day?
The time is largely governed by the opening hours of businesses you will be
trading with. From experience a normal working hours would be from 9.00am
to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. This however will be largely up to you as
your own boss, however the success of your business will reflect closely on the
effort you put into it. Most franchisees find that they have their
evenings and weekends free to spend with their family and friends.
How do you allocate a territory to me?
We don’t! Most of our Franchisee’s want to operate near to where they live, so
we let you choose an extensive territory from the postcodes areas that are still
available.
Do I need any premises?
Yes, however you can run the business from your home, garage or small
business premises. This will largely depend on how big you grow. We
recommend starting from your own home to avoid the cost of maintaining a
business premises.
Is this business suited to men, women or couples?
Yes, all three! It appeals to people of any age and background who enjoy getting
out and meeting people and not being stuck behind a desk!
Will I be doing lots of miles in a van?
No! Most of our franchisees do less than 10,000 miles per year, largely because
they plan their routes to allow multiple ‘pick-ups’ from the same area.
If I work all day, will I have to use my evenings to do lots of
paperwork?
No, with this type of business, there are very few overheads, very few invoices
and, consequently, there is minimal paperwork and administration to complete.

Do you have to do any selling?
No, our healthy products are very much in demand and are readily accepted.
Companies feel that Nutz 'n' Nibbles is actually providing a benefit for their
staff as well as giving the company an opportunity to contribute to a worthwhile
cause.
Do you pack and deliver the stock to the Franchisee?
Yes, our snacks are supplied, packed and delivered directly to the franchisee.
Can I source my own van?
No, the van is an important part of the corporate image and is also a very
effective marketing tool. We need to ensure that all vans are identical and,
therefore, your Nutz 'n' Nibbles van is fully sign written and the interior is
specially fitted out for the Nutz 'n' Nibbles business.
Can I pay the Franchise fee by installments after I start trading?
No, but we can introduce you to banks who will consider providing you with up to
70% of the capital required by way of a business loan (subject to status).
Are you members of the British Franchise Association?
No not yet, however Nutz 'n' Nibbles is applying to be fully accredited by the
BFA
Do you guarantee 300 customers?
Yes, but we do not expect you to remain at that level. The initial 300 customers
will give you an immediate income revenue stream on the launch of your new
business. We would then expect you to grow your customer base by adding more
customers each week
